A word in hebrew for to forgive is לסלוח a word in hebrew for to terminate is לחסל both words have the same root.So bear in mind this Rosh Hashana that there is much we will ask G-D to forgive , to wipe out ,to terminate from our eternal balance sheet which G-D in His infinite mercy does when we are forgiven.
However when you forgive someone grant them the same privilege and make it a priority to wipe out any remnants , residue etc from issues past. G-d would not require it of us if it was not possible
Forgiveness, is a bridge we can all cross if we give to others what we ask of G-D
