Your Daily Dose Of Heaven
The fast of the 10th of Tevet which commemorates when the armies of the Babylonian emperor Nebuchadnezzar laid siege to Jerusalem. Thirty months later—on 9 Tammuz 3338—the city walls were breached, and on 9 Av of that year ,the First Holy Temple , The Beit Hamikdash was destroyed. The Jewish people were exiled to Babylonia for 70 years.
I would like to address a deeper level here which impacts us at a cellular level and in all area of our lives,physical and spiritual.
The Temple was the focus of Jewish life, Jewish Spiritual life in the holiest of lands,Israel.Our nation would travel on,among others Pesach ,Shavuot and Succot to the Beit Hamikdash.These Regalim ," festivals" were not isolated from each other,Pesach, our birth as a nation gaining the true freedom that is serving G-D as our limitless, Divinely created selves.Shavuot is when we received the Torah ,our Divine guide for a Divine life to elevate ourselves and the world along with us. Succot , a time of Simcha,meaningful joy,inculcating that all is fleeting but our permanent abode is in G-d's loving embrace,what unbelievable joy that is!!!!!

So throughout the year our focus is maintained,Pesach, we realize who we are,what being a free nation means,we learn with gratitude ,understanding that the Creator,Maintainer of all that was is or ever will be freed us and serving"Him" is the ultimate freedom and the ultimate form of self expression.From Pesach..connecting ourselves to Shavuot we work at climbing the Divine 49 rung ladder of the days of Sefirat HaOmer leading up to us being worthy of receiving on Shavuot,the Torah ,our Divine guide keeping us aligned with our Divine Design.Then on the right path we get to Rosh Hashana , Yom Kippur and then Succot where we immerse ourselves in the joyous knowledge that through the Judgement, through our efforts during the year ,whatever happens, G-D loves us, never abandons us,showers us daily with a constant flow of blessings and miracles whose Divine value endures beyond any fleeting possessions ,endeavors etc.
This meaningfully joyful focus has kept our lives in focus , our souls alive so vibrantly connected to True Meaning, True Holiness, True Fulfillment, The only Reality that is G-D.But then we lost our focus and we were besieged by influences,ways of thinking ,fears etc that threatened to break through the walls, the borders that we had worked so hard on to keep our focus on maintaining the enduring freedom that G-D gave us to live our greatest lives , individually and nationally.The siege intensified and we did not stand our ground, we refused to recognize the cracks, where we were truly falling, and so eventually our walls were breached.Even with G-D banging on the walls of our hearts we denied ourselves the resilience, fortitude ,Hakarat Hatova( gratitude) and hope that G-D fills us with daily to keep our hearts open. Then our hearts were breached ,the Temple was destroyed and stone filled our hearts until the excruciating challenges of exile started to chip away at the stone allowing G-D back in and so we returned, sadly for only a short while to be exiled later yet again for losing our focus .
We all have the potential to be a" Mikdash M'at" a small Temple where G-D can reside within us all.By slowly realigning our Divine Design, appreciating in our thoughts ,words , actions etc ,guided by the Torah ,of our majestic uniqueness ,our Eternal value, our Eternal worth as "Bnei Melech",children of Avinu Malkeinu, Our Father Our King we will surely become that " Mikdash M'at" where G-D can comfortably reside and as realign our focus. Individually and nationally our collective light will shine bright guiding us Home to Israel where our light truly shines and we will be a true "Or LaGoyim , Light unto the nations , first having been a light unto ourselves ,appreciating how we can shine and embodying the verse וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְּתוֹכָם ,make for me a temple and I will reside in "them "..."them" being you and me, the small temples whose collective light will pave the way for our Third and Final Temple...speedily in our days..Amen

Why do people waste their lives in their constant addiction to distraction?
I believe one reason is because people do not realize that they are the rarest "commodity" in all existence that was, has been or ever will be.G-D created each and every one of us totally unique,with a function in this world that noone else can fulfill no matter our circumstances , our means etc.If we would learn with humility to come to terms with and get to know our uniquely beautiful Divine worth we would never be distracted from making our eternal best of each beautiful second of life that G-D has given us and being a portal of goodness through which G-D's Divine blessing could flood the world.

G-d has blessed us all( with no exceptions)with the ability to overlook our personal insults and embarrassments for the sake of a higher cause.What higher cause in our day to day interactions can there be but our relationships.We are not being doormats ,we are acknowledging context,perspective and placing a higher value on our relationships than on gratifying a bruised ego and/or fleeting trivialities.

The word for doubt in hebrew is ספק ,the word for to supply is לספק, the word for to make it or to manage is להספיק.the letters ס,פ,ק ,the root,connects all the words and a possible lesson in the connection is
Doubts may abound but it is you who supply them to yourself if you choose to face them and overcome them you will understand that they are many a time your fears in disguise and then you will be in control of them, manage them and through your doubts you will make it knowing that you are so much bigger than any doubt. So realign with your Divine design and see beyond your doubts because what seems to be is not necessarily what has to be and what has to be is not necessarily what could be.

We are thus all on our own totally unique ,journey fighting our own inner and outer battles etc ,G-D knows this and is with us every step of the way ,readily available.It is only through the journey that we taste life and with getting closer to G-D as our destination we do not risk stagnation for noone will truly be G-D, but G-D so we will continue growing, always taking it higher.Should we fall, that is never a reason for despair as it makes our rise back into G-D's embrace all the more meteoric.

We fall down a hole into tunnel vision and see only a passionate desire to be right.....how sad it is that the desire to be right can bring about so much wrong.
Yet should we choose to pause, to step back, and decide that we value the relationship value life above being right , then we have found a key to wisdom and given our relationship/s a fighting chance.The first to relent will be the last to resent.

Here is one way to exponentially increase gratitude to G-D that many of us miss.
1.If we slip at home and catch ourselves on the wall many say "whew" ...or something like that and move on

3.When we feel the need to go to the doctor for some pain or irritation etc and there is nothing serious ,we might say" good I can get out of here" .."great nothing serious" and thats it
4.When we drop ,by mistake, something heavy and it misses our foot, some of us might say " whew" and some might just carry on without a second thought..

2. Do we even pause with heartfelt gratitude to think that the small thing we drove over could have been a nail causing a puncture and depending on our speed etc could have ,G-D forbid resulted in an accident?
3.Do we consider with enormous gratitude what a small pain could have G-D forbid been the start of?
4.Do we even entertain with all encompassing gratitude that the heavy object could have smashed our foot, broken toes etc?

We all get up in the morning consciously or subconsciously with a "whats in it for me today" attitude and so we start our daily journey.However maybe we should started asking consciously and/or subconsciously " What can I do today with what I have and who I am right now to add value,to contribute , to shine my unique part of G-D's light without excuses no matter how much darkness I may or may not see.
We start off our day aligning our focus with gratitude to G-D when we say Modeh Ani.. as we should, having been granted a golden ticket of life in a new day.
We see in Modeh Ani...the word. emunatecha( Your faith, belief..for lack of a better word).The questions arises.. We are thanking G-D it should be "emunateinu" ( our faith , belief etc)..
G-d with unconditional love is telling us no matter who you are, or what you have done..I have "faith" in you ,confidence in you to make this,whatever you face ,a truly powerful day full of gratitude showing up as the best version of you at this time...So trust G-D without your hand on the stopwatch, G-D "thought "you were worth creating..and has confidence in you..no reason you should not
Noone can be you but you, you are thus irreplaceable.You are never too far gone to go far
Start your day not as a casualty but as a champion of your circumstances. Live Authentically ,Live Gratefully, Live Resiliently..you can always take it higher ..you have G-D within you

If you love computers and bought the latest on the market would you just use it for e-mails
If you love books and bought the latest from a favorite author would you just read the first and last chapters?
If you loved music and bought the CD of your all time favorite singer, band etc would you just listen to one song?
and the list goes on
Most of us would answer no to the above type of question and if that is the case well .....
We were given life by the Creator and Maintainer of all that ever was or ever will
We were created totally unique and noone in history ,in the present or in the future can or could ever fulfill the role G-D sent us to play.

How can we resign our Divine design to complacency?
How do we allow ourselves to get lost in distraction ?
It is never where you are or what you have it is more who you become with what you have
Give yourself the space to grow , to break through your comfort zone
Positively push your edges for when you do so they expand
Your only limits are the fears you embrace
You can do absolutely anything you need to ,do it and let G-D decide if you will succeed

Getting in touch with our higher selves
Feeling that one has an insatiable desire to contribute to the world
but the frustration of being flooded with ideas that find no outlet
nurtures a feeling to medicate the overload that has not been satisfied
leading to an addiction to distraction ,resigning our Divine design to a
seemingly permanent residency in our comfort zone
We rest easy in our assumptions avoid confronting our fears and are
hypnotized by the cult of average to ease the pain of no real gain
feeling diminished by the seemingly mundane
we lose ourselves in our mind numbing routines to avoid going insane
Yet in feeling sorry for ourselves we succumb to the blindness of ingratitude
increased by the frustration of mediocrity exacerbated by our immersion in a whirlpool of negativity,inaction and complaints
Yet should we pause, step back and allow G-D to clear our sight and to
expand our tunnel vision into the truly big picture that our gift of life is
then we gain the power to reevaluate honestly which fertilizes the ground for meaningful growth
Allowing G-D into our mindset will ripple down into our thoughts ,words
,actions etc and remove the spiritual cataracts to seeing the miracles and
blessings that are and have been all around us , giving us permission to
behold no matter the challenges , no matter our circumstances the good,
the wonderful in our lives , the things we were and are able to do, the lives
we possible touched ,the relationships , the people that meant and mean
the world to us, seeing now what we missed before as achievements,
We then cannot avoid the sublime flood of gratitude that opens
our hearts and allows our authenticity to shine forth keeping our definitions fluid
and we soar feeling the heavenly validation to take ourselves, our lives consistently higher and the world along with us
For we are the best at being ourselves we just have to let G-D in and commit to doing our best
We are never too far gone to far

We all need our all important " WHY" to keep going, keep motivated etc, but sadly there are those who at times feel they have lost their " WHY"and in so doing lose their zest or even at times their will to live.
I would like to inform you that there is at least one " WHY " that you can never lose and if you act as if it is lost or persuade yourself that it is lost then you have simply abandoned it ... and that " WHY" is to gift the world with you..there is noone else that can do it.
G-D created you totally unique...the worlds greatest minds, greatest achievers, holiest people etc try as they may will never be you,so if G-D created you , you are needed, you matter whether you understand it or not.
Even if you sweep the streets noone can sweep them as you or like you
Even if you wash dishes noone can wash them as you or like you
Even if you bus tables noone can bus them as you or like you
Even if you work on an assembly line noone can do your job as you or like you
Even if you collect garbage noone can collect it as you or like you
Even if you pack groceries at a supermarket noone can pack them as you or like you
The mall guard who ,many ignore but you say Hi to everyday comes to work with a different more positive attitude because you said Hi as only you can
The person who came begging and whose dignity you respected when you gave him charity might look at his differently because you in your way respected their dignity.
There is definitely noone like you and their never will be so when you sweep your streets do so as Da Vinci paints, as Pavarotti sang , let your uniqueness burst forth, jump at the opportunity to pour your values into your circumstances and pour your best ,your soul powered best into anything that you do and the angels will applaud you in that you took whatever you were dealt and let the Master shine through the unique sublime Masterpiece that your life was meant to be no matter your circumstances
