Anything you face or interact with, for you ,only means what you tell yourself about it no matter what you have learnt or whatever anyone tells you..What you tell yourself is the meaning you live by...so the continued story you choose to tell yourself about your life , your experiences,interactions ,relationships etc..will dictate the path you take..So keep yourself open to everything,to the everything that is G-D and your self talk will upgrade and guide you to new levels of holiness,quality, achievement ,appreciation etc keeping your Divine design aligned
As King David so eloquently puts it:
"May the expressions of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before You,Hashem, my Rock and my Redeemer-Tehillim19:15)"
