12 Steps To Massive Stress Reduction
1.Nothing and noone causes you stress.
2.Stress is your subconscious ,habitual and conscious interpretation(self talk) of anything or what anyone says or does that results in stress.
3.Identify the situation , interaction that results in stress for you.
4.Understand that your chosen interpretation (self talk) that has lead to stress releases among others the stress hormone Cortisol which can cause needless physiological damage.
5.Stress , among other things, damages your heart because stress hormones increase your heart rate and constrict your blood vessels. This forces your heart to work harder, and increases your blood pressure.
6.Once you have Identified the situation , interaction that results in stress ,work on a different more positive , empowering, interpretation(self talk) that promotes hope , possibility and validation.
7. Take some time to analyze what you believe about the situation or interaction that leads to stress and change those beliefs. Often our unquestioned beliefs or stress paradigms sit in our subconscious wreaking their destruction
8.Believe your new interpretation (self talk) wholly for only then will it enter your heart.
9. Make a conscious effort to repeat your new interpretation (self talk) many times daily and eventually it will become part of your automatic response system.
10.Stay open to all that can be instead of locking yourself into what supposedly has to be and you will find it easier to come up with a new more positively powerful interpretation(self talk) that will drastically reduce if not get rid of your stress.
11. You have to really want to get rid of your stress, see getting rid of it as critical to your existence and then you will do what you must and put in the effort without giving up.
12.Celebrate every bit of progress you make no matter how small and no matter what else happens. Focusing on daily successes rewire your brain to focus on what can be done.
