This Rav Kook quote in my opinion hits the mark with all the people bashing especially those who bash other Rabbis instead of working on themselves
“The truly righteous do not complain about evil, but rather add justice; they do not complain about heresy, but rather add faith; they do not complain about ignorance, but rather add wisdom.”

In other words instead of complaining about darkness add light and then you and others will see much clearer.
