Why is giving the secret to Living?
There are many views on the issue, here is one:
When you are totally immersed in yourself , the lens through which you see everyone and everything is " whats in it for me because it is all about me"

When you work on being self..less you make space in your life , in your world view for others, their wants , their needs ,choices, self expression etc and you know that it is not all about you and you know that giving is the bridge to living as when you give,wholeheartedly, you connect..positively.You see when you understand that it is not all about you it must be about something to do with others.
You then find yourself noticing the world around you and then you find yourself being more aware of others ,the impact of what you say and do on others and indeed the world which leads you to being more self aware of the impact of others etc on you , how you feel, how you act , react etc.This gives you the opportunity to grow ,not to stagnate ,to exit your comfort zone, to find new horizons, to get to know your self better, to find wow, excitement, more enthusiasm ,more joy ,quality and fulfillment that are natural by products of authentic growth...and to build relationships that have the best chances of enduring.

Now taking it to the next level:
When you do not just understand that it is not all about you but being a part of something bigger than you,you find a why and when you connect to a healthy positive why that empowers the authentic you ,you will give what ever is needed for the why to remain yours.What follows is that your giving will not be conditional upon what others , say or do for you true why will always be in front of you and you will be free to strive to be the best version of the authentic you that you can be at anyone time
