Interestingly Hashem let me see today personally that if you stay open to it you will see and feel Hashem's hugs and loving care even during challenges
Yes it can be tremendously hard depending on your attitude and the challenge you find yourself in

Practice never closing in on yourself,staying open, allowing yourself to see and feel the light that is Hashem's love then darkness might at times hurt you but will never prevail.
