When you come down to it if you believe in G-d
Yes we are accountable, have responsibility and should not make excuses for our mistakes etc
Yet
We should also accept and respect( not necessarily agreeing with) people for exactly who they are and how they are at any one time in their life's journey as if they were not meant to be there for whatever reason G-d would not have let them
